UK based manufacturer of tamper proof security seals and packages, ITW Envopak, has purchased a new production cell for its factory in Sidcup, Kent. The production cell consists of a Systec 80-310 injection moulding machine, robot and a laser marking system. Sumitomo Demag was able to deliver the machine within 4 weeks of the order being placed, enabling ITW Envopak to continue to support the sales growth on its new product UNO. In addition to this, the production cell has allowed Envopak to double its output of the UNO product.
Jon Kingsford (ITW) has said that he feels "This investment shows our ongoing commitment to invest in new equipment to support the growth of our business. The Systec 80-310 has been in production for several months and has been producing quality product on a very consistent basis. We are very happy with the machine and it is a pleasure working with such a professional company as Sumitomo Demag. We have been impressed by the new NC5 control system on the Systec range which has the facility to monitor all the production data remotely via an Internet connection, enabling me to have access to live production data, which is important on high profile product such as this."
Sumitomo (SHI) Demag is committed to making all its customers feel confident in its products, while ensuring that its level of service and support make the customer feel relaxed throughout the life of the project, not just for the warranty period.
